Get to know the faces behind the wheels! At MM Band Services, we’re more than just a band tour logistics company – we’re a team. A team of passionate professionals who are committed to making your tour experience as smooth, efficient, and hassle-free as possible. We understand that touring can be stressful, which is why we’ve assembled a team of experts who will ensure that your journey is both seamless and enjoyable.

And with that, we’re thrilled to introduce you to the team that keeps the music playing and the wheels turning!

First up is Dave, our Operations Director

Dave brings a wealth of experience in fleet and engineering operational management. With a 25-year career in the military and subsequent public and private sector contract roles, Dave’s expertise is invaluable to our operations. His military background has instilled in him a commitment to excellence, which he brings to every aspect of his work. Dave’s leadership skills are second to none, and he has a proven track record of building high-performing teams that deliver outstanding results.

Since joining MM Band Services in December 2022, Dave has wasted no time in streamlining our operations and identifying areas for improvement. His innovative solutions and strategic thinking have been instrumental in driving our business forward, and we’re fortunate to have him as part of our team.

Next is our General Manager, Ian

Ian is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our growing fleet of band tour sleeper buses. He’s been a part of the MM Band Services family since 2017, and during his tenure, he has witnessed our fleet double in size.

Ian’s relationship with our Managing Director, Mike, goes back 30 years to their time working together in the motor trade. Long-standing relationships like this make our team that much stronger.

When he’s not overseeing our growing fleet, Ian enjoys playing football, traveling, and spending time with his two teenage sons. His passion for life is infectious, and he brings that same energy and enthusiasm to his work.

Karl is our Logistics Manager

Karl is our Logistics Manager at MM Band Services, and he brings a wealth of experience to his role. Before joining our team in 2021, Karl had a 30-year career as a driver in the band bus industry. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the unique challenges that come with transporting musicians and their equipment across Europe.

As our Logistics Manager, Karl is responsible for everything from routing to driver management. He works closely with our drivers to ensure that they have the support they need to navigate the complex logistics of a band tour.

Outside of work, Karl is an avid football fan, and he enjoys spending time with his family. His dedication to his work and his love for life are just two of the many reasons why he’s such an important part of our team at MM Band Services.

Jo is our Fleet & Logistics Administrator

She joined us in 2022, after spending 26 years in the motor trade. As the Fleet & Logistics Administrator, Jo plays a vital role in ensuring that our band tour sleeper buses are where they need to be, when they need to be there. She works closely with the logistics team, tracking our buses across Europe and ensuring that they are running on schedule. Her exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail make her an invaluable member of our team.

Jo’s work is critical to the success of our clients’ tours, as she ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is always on hand to handle any unexpected issues, and her calm and collected approach to problem-solving is an asset to our team. With her help, our clients can rest assured that their band’s tour logistics are in good hands.

Louise, Finance & Business Support

As a finance and business support administrator, Louise is be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the touring service. This could include tracking expenses, processing payments to vendors and performers, managing budgets, and generating financial reports.

She also provides general administrative support for the business, such as handling paperwork, managing schedules, and assisting with customer service. Her work is crutial in ensuring the touring service runs efficiently.

Lastly, our Admin & Marketing Administrator Helen

Helen is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing our social media presence, handling customer retention, and providing general administrative support. Helen is the friendly face behind the emails and phone calls, and she is always on hand to answer any questions our clients may have. Her excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creative flair have helped us to build strong relationships with our clients and make their tour experience with us as stress-free as possible.

Plus, Helen makes the best brew in the office, which is obviously one of the best qualities to have.
